"I wasn't experiencing any issues when I started training with Chris but I was keen to prevent problems. I was marathon training and starting to put in long miles and wanted to prevent injuries. You too often see runners with injuries that curtails or stops their running. I didn't want to be that runner.

I hadn’t tried any running strength and conditioning programmes before this, I tend to have quite a "haphazard" approach to training. But I felt I really need to add in a strength session to prevent injuries.

I have remained injury free which has been my initial goal and I also feel I am getting stronger and faster in my running.

I run mainly for pleasure and don't tend to chase Personal Best times. But I am getting satisfaction out of improving my speed and endurance.

Before working with Chris, I ran my first Marathon which was OK. But having started working with Chris, I ran my 2nd which was the Snowdonia Marathon.

A tough route with significant inclines. It was whilst running this I really felt the benefits. Legs felt strong for the whole course. And I enjoyed every minute! Adding strength and conditioning to your training plan has huge benefits to any runner.

I hugely enjoy working with someone who understands runners and what is required from them in their training.

If you’re considering working with Chris then I’d say “Go for it!!!”

Whatever your goal, Chris offers advice and guidance that is hugely helpful"
