"I was pretty new to running and having completed the London Marathon last year I realised I that I had not properly prepared with no time give to strength and conditioning and that ultimately not giving me the platform for a strong finish to the marathon - having to walk the majority of the last 5-6 miles. Having been accepted to take part in the marathon again this year I wanted to train properly with inclusion of S and C to prepare me fully for those later miles.

The only training I took part in last year was road running on my own. At the time I felt this to be enough but ultimately was not a good way to prepare for a race.

Since working with a Chris he has changed my attitude towards training and the way I train. I now include 2 S and C sessions per week into my routine (I actually enjoy those 6am sessions at the gym) that works alongside my marathon training programme.

I feel stronger in myself and a stronger runner having already achieved a PB across 5k and 10k distances. But one of the most important things that I have gained is the support network through him. He is always on hand to offer support and has answered all questions asked. He goes out his way to provide support to his network.

I feel myself becoming a stronger runner each day and I know that I am giving it my absolute best to achieve my goals with Chris supporting me. The accountability of a PT is there which inspires you to get up and go on those cold dark mornings and this is done with a friendly and supportive manner with a sense of humour to help you achieve your best.

The most important thing is for you to be engaged yourself then Chris will do the rest to keep you pushing yourself and reaching for those goals.

Chris has offered great advice to improve me as a runner. He has encouraged me to take part in parkrun to help with pacing. This works extremely well as I’ll usually run on my own the advice to attend these has given me a mini race day each week to help me control my pace. The support is extremely important as we are all doing the same thing and from completely different running backgrounds.

If you want to become a better runner definitely meet with Chris - go through your needs and I guarantee he will be the answer you are looking for and if he is not he will be honest about that too. Chris is a genuinely great guy who knows so much about his business and strives to be the best and continually is improving his understanding and knowledge to keep him at the top of his business.

On a personal note this programme has been exactly what I needed to make me a better runner that can be achieved during your hours in the week and you get out of it what you put in. I honestly feel much stronger in my running and I would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks Chris"
